Soulog has introduced the Sense device, a compact voice recorder powered by artificial intelligence, designed to capture conversations and organize related personal information, assisting users in transforming ideas and discussions into practical outputs such as reports, proposals, and summaries. The device operates in conjunction with the Soulog app, which consolidates recordings, files, and associated materials within an organized context that can be revisited and developed later, facilitating effective management of conversation content. Sense is now available through the company's official store and the Amazon platform. Its operation is based on a three-stage mechanism called "Capture → Connect → Create," aiming to move beyond mere conversation storage to leveraging content for task completion. The device is designed for minimal-step audio recording, featuring a physical sliding switch to start recording immediately. Users can add photos, notes, and files via the app, and a single button allows marking important moments during conversations. Sense includes a Rewind feature that saves up to 30 minutes of prior audio, provided the device is powered on and the feature is pre-activated with specified active hours, functioning only during user-defined times. The app enables reviewing transcribed texts from recordings, recaps, and task lists. It also offers Map and Timeline features to explore information linked to conversations, helping organize context chronologically and connect its elements. The Space feature aggregates conversations and supporting files into one area, simplifying access to relevant information instead of searching across multiple apps and sources. The company offers unlimited free audio-to-text transcription, while some AI features require a paid subscription. Users can create editable documents within the app, called Artifacts, including proposals, summaries, and reports. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) support allows compatible AI tools to access context and stored information in Soulog, enhancing their utility for other tasks. Sense features a compact design measuring approximately 4 × 2.5 × 0.12 inches, weighing 1.6 ounces, with 8 GB of internal storage. It uses two MEMS microphones and a Voice Processing Unit (VPU), with a sound capture range of about 16 feet (4.9 meters). Continuous recording lasts up to 50 hours on a full battery charge, with actual runtime varying based on usage, settings, and conditions. The device charges via a standard USB-C port without needing a special charging dock; a 10-minute charge provides roughly eight hours of typical daily use. The company emphasizes that audio files are encrypted on the device, during data transfer, and when stored in the cloud. Syncing content with the cloud requires user activation, and the company asserts it neither sells user content nor uses it to train AI models.
