Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, described on Thursday the delay in forming the new regional government as a "black mark" in the democratic journey of the region. He highlighted that international allies have begun to lose confidence in resolving this issue. Talabani emphasized that the time has come to move forward without further postponement in establishing the new government, stressing the need to overcome existing disagreements. He noted that this delay negatively impacts the region's reputation and democratic experience, as reflected in a meeting he held on Wednesday with a senior official from a friendly country, who inquired about the reasons behind the ongoing stalemate. The Deputy Prime Minister underscored the urgency of forming the new cabinet to meet citizens' aspirations and address current challenges, calling for unity and collective action to achieve this goal.
