US President Donald Trump affirmed today, Wednesday, that the United States will maintain full control over the Strait of Hormuz. In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated that the US exercises complete control over the Strait, expressing confidence in their ability to preserve it. He characterized their naval blockade as a "wall of steel" that Iran is powerless to counter. Regarding Iran's situation, Trump explained the country lacks a naval fleet and air force, with its remaining soldiers unpaid. He added that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is exhausted and deserting, and its leadership is unstable or threatened. He also claimed Iran has no money, and its country is in a deplorable state. Trump highlighted that all Iran possesses is "fake news and 300% inflation," asserting the situation is worsening. He concluded by saying Iran is "talk without action" and no longer the "tyrant of the Middle East."
