US Energy Secretary Kris Wright informed Fox News that 18 million barrels of oil transited the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of increasing supply flows through the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Wright further stated that oil flow from the Gulf has currently reached record levels. He noted that approximately 18 million barrels exited on Tuesday, volumes comparable to pre-conflict levels. Additionally, President Donald Trump's administration is considering activating the Defense Production Act to boost US refining capacity. An American oil company is also set to discuss investments in Venezuela today.
