The US Treasury Department announced the imposition of sanctions on two Iranian airline companies, including preventing their aircraft from landing at airports, refueling, and selling tickets.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said, Thursday, that the United States will block Iranian airlines' access to landing facilities, refueling, and ticket sales.
He added that his country has also imposed sanctions on the Iranian Strait of Hormuz Authority, warning companies against paying money to Iranians in exchange for passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
