US Vice President Vance: Iran Agreed to Oil Flow Without Fees Through Strait of Hormuz

US Vice President J.D. Vance announced Saturday that Iran pledged to permit maximum oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz. Vance told Fox News, "Iran informed us it would allow maximum oil flow through Hormuz, but we do not trust this until proven." He added, "Iranians are suffering and wish to end this situation. We are developing a safe passage plan for vessels through Hormuz, including Iran's commitment not to fire." He further noted, "Iran confirmed it would not impose transit fees for the Strait of Hormuz, despite internal discussions within the Iranian regime about such charges."
