In a move to enhance coordination between the legislative and executive authorities, the leadership body of Al-Azm Alliance met today, Thursday, with Finance Minister Faleh Sari. The discussions focused on reviewing a number of files of common interest, in addition to deliberating on pivotal issues related to the country's legislative and executive work. A statement released by Al-Azm Alliance's media office revealed the key demands raised during the meeting. The alliance emphasized the urgency of expediting the payment of dues to farmers who marketed their agricultural crops. The discussions also included the issue of permanently appointing contract employees in all ministries to the permanent staff within the upcoming federal budget. Furthermore, the leadership body called for fair treatment of former Iraqi army personnel, stressing the importance of disbursing their financial entitlements.
