Justice Ministry's Reform Program: Inmates in Five Provinces Supply Schools with Supplies

As part of its efforts to develop rehabilitative and productive programs, the Ministry of Justice announced on Thursday that inmates in correctional facilities have completed a range of school supplies and educational trips. These products were donated to the Ministry of Education, an initiative utilizing inmates' energies and equipping them with vocational skills beneficial post-sentence. The initiative, overseen by specialized cadres, encompassed correctional institutions in Babylon, Al-Adala/2, Nasiriyah, Central Baghdad, and Najaf Al-Ashraf prisons. Murad Al-Saadi, Director of the Ministry's Media Department, affirmed that modern reform transcends punishment, extending to inmate rehabilitation and positive reintegration. Transforming rehabilitation outputs into products serving state institutions illustrates the Ministry's direction towards a suitable productive and rehabilitative environment within prisons.
