Al-Rafidain Bank announced on Wednesday a significant growth in electronic collections during August 2026, with their value reaching 1.35 trillion Iraqi dinars. The value of settlements executed on behalf of government departments during the same month exceeded 1.350 trillion dinars, comprising 77,671 settlements that covered 2,836 government entities. Compared to August 2025, the value of settlements increased by 81.5%, and their number rose by 24.2%, while the number of government departments with activated systems grew by 33.5%. These results reflect tangible progress in expanding electronic collection, enhancing the efficiency of government revenue management, and promoting transparency and digital transformation within state institutions.
