Anticipated US China agreement reducing mutual tariffs and facilitating navigation in Hormuz

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that Washington and Beijing are seeking to reduce tariffs on some commercial products, starting with 30 billion dollars in non-vital sectors. Bessent added that he "believes China will do what it can regarding the Strait of Hormuz." He continued that "opening the Strait of Hormuz will benefit China."
