KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Taqaddum Party leader Mohammed al-Halbousi reiterated support for the federal government, led by PM Ali Al-Zaidi, to address ongoing challenges and regional crises. At a joint press conference, Barzani stated discussions covered bilateral relations and developing joint cooperation, especially given Iraq's and the wider region's sensitive conditions. He emphasized cooperation with the federal government in Baghdad, enabling it to manage the numerous crises facing the country and region, reaffirming full support. Al-Halbousi, for his part, noted his visit to the Kurdistan Region included meetings with KDP leadership and Massoud Barzani. Discussions focused on strengthening political cooperation, preserving national achievements, and examining regional developments. He also renewed support for the government and PM Ali Al-Zaidi to safeguard Iraq's security, stability, and sovereignty, free from disputes. Al-Halbousi stressed that all political parties must prioritize the supreme interests of the Iraqi people.
