The Prime Minister, Ali Falih Al-Zaidi, issued a directive on Saturday to cancel the contracts of three companies operating at Mosul International Airport due to their connections with armed groups, and to transfer these contracts to reputable international companies. An official source explained that the decision included the cancellation of the contract with "Sky Plus," which was responsible for renting airport counters, due to its links with armed entities, and the contract was reassigned to globally recognized firms. The cancellation also covered the lease of the uncovered internal parking lot at the airport with "Sama Al-Matar" company for the same reasons, with the contract being transferred to other international companies. Additionally, the directive included the cancellation of the taxi office lease contract at Mosul International Airport with "Al-Faisal Al-Shamikh" company, which was also reassigned to global companies, based on its affiliation with armed groups.
