The Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc called on Thursday for all political parties to take practical steps to resume the sessions of the Kurdistan Parliament, affirming its full readiness to participate in the election of the parliamentary presidency. Mard Ali Khala, a member of the bloc, stated in a press conference that the responsibility for calling the first session lies with the New Generation Movement, as the session president belongs to it. He noted ongoing efforts to reach a political consensus, with no new developments regarding the formation of the new government. He added that the Democratic Party, as the largest bloc, is ready to cooperate with all parties to activate the parliament, emphasizing that no official political alliance has been announced so far.
