The Karkh Narcotics Affairs Directorate announced on Monday a successful security operation in Erbil, which resulted in the arrest of two suspects and the seizure of four kilograms of crystal meth. The Directorate reported that its units, in collaboration with the Erbil Narcotics Affairs Directorate, successfully confiscated the specified quantity of crystal meth, alongside various weapons and ammunition. The operation also involved the apprehension of two suspects, one of whom is considered highly dangerous and wanted in connection with dozens of criminal cases. The Directorate clarified that this achievement stemmed from intensive intelligence gathering and precise monitoring, confirming that the operation led to the capture of the suspects and the confiscation of the illicit substances in their possession within Erbil Governorate.
