Global food prices rise for second straight month

Food and Agriculture Organization revealed that global food prices increased for the second consecutive month in March.

The index reached 128.5 points, up 2.4% from the previous month.

The increase reflects shifts in prices of major food commodities worldwide.

The organization also projected record grain production in 2025.
