Gold prices saw a noticeable rise in Baghdad and Erbil, following the global upward trend.
In Baghdad, imported 21-karat gold reached 1.024 million IQD for selling and 1.020 million IQD for buying, while Iraqi gold recorded 994,000 IQD.
Retail prices ranged between 1.025–1.035 million IQD for imported gold and 995,000–1,005,000 IQD for Iraqi gold.
In Erbil, 22-karat gold reached 1.079 million IQD and 21-karat 1.030 million IQD.
The increase reflects global gold price movements and the local exchange rate of the dollar.
