Government issues urgent directives regarding the postponement of vital imported food tariffs

In a move aimed at enhancing food security and protecting consumers' purchasing power, new government directives have been issued to postpone the collection of customs and tax fees imposed on a wide range of essential commodities. An official statement issued today, Thursday, by the media office of Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi explained that the decision specifically includes imported eggs, chicken, and live meat products into markets. The statement added that these executive procedures were specifically designed to play an active role in supporting the stability of local markets, as well as ensuring the provision of these necessary goods at appropriate and affordable prices within the reach of all citizens without financial burden.
