In a move aimed at protecting the local market and addressing current living challenges, the Ministry of Finance announced on Thursday new measures regarding the food sector. These measures included officially directing the General Authority of Customs to postpone the collection of customs duties imposed on live red meat, as well as chicken and eggs. This regulatory step falls within broader efforts to support the stability of basic food prices and ease financial burdens on citizens, directly contributing to enhancing market stability and providing these vital products to consumers at suitable and stable prices in the coming period.
