The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh Al-Fayyad, affirmed on Wednesday the full readiness of the commission to implement the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, to confront any attacks targeting Iraq and its security institutions. This came during Al-Fayyad's reception of the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, at the PMF headquarters. Al-Fayyad stressed that the PMF is prepared to apply all directives of the Commander-in-Chief to ensure the protection of the lives of PMF fighters, enhance the country's security, preserve its sovereignty, and raise the level of readiness to counter any attacks targeting Iraq and its security facilities. For his part, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, made a visit to the PMF headquarters on Wednesday, where he met with the head of the commission and a number of its leaders and security officials. During the visit, Al-Zaidi listened to a detailed explanation regarding the attacks that Iraq was subjected to earlier today, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of several PMF members in various governorates. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces directed the honoring of martyrs' families, the provision of comprehensive healthcare for the wounded, and the adoption of all necessary measures to ensure their treatment, including the possibility of transferring them abroad if their health condition requires it.
