Head of Security Media Cell Affirms Iraqi Forces' Readiness to Assume Full Security File by End of September

The Security Media Cell affirmed on Sunday that claims aiming to diminish the Iraqi security forces' capacity to fully assume the security situation by September 30 are entirely incorrect. In this context, the head of the Cell, Lieutenant General Saad Maan, cautioned in a statement to the official agency that the upcoming period, coinciding with September 30, might witness an escalation in inciting disputes, sedition, and strife, with the aim of preoccupying public opinion. Maan emphasized that this sensitive stage necessitates deep security and media awareness. Lieutenant General Maan underscored the critical importance of September 30, reiterating that Iraqi security forces are capable and prepared to handle this vital file. He added that they continue to develop and possess the full potential to take over security duties on the specified date.
