Interior Minister Yasser Al-Maliki announced on Friday the beginning of a new phase in security work that requires comprehensive support for the Ministry's Police Affairs Agency and its leadership across all provinces. This aims to enhance the effectiveness of the security system and improve the quality of services that meet the daily needs of citizens. During an inspection visit to the agency's headquarters, the minister reviewed detailed reports on achievement rates and field challenges affecting work progress, as well as the levels of coordination and integration among various formations and relevant bodies. Al-Maliki emphasized that police work extends beyond security to closely involve citizens' social issues, stressing the utmost priority for good treatment and positive interaction with the public within official frameworks. He pointed out that providing high-quality services relies on creating a suitable work environment, strengthening institutional integration, and employing modern technology in procedures, considering that enhancing citizen interaction is the hallmark of the upcoming phase.
