Iraq's Minister of Electricity, Ali Saadi Wahib, affirmed on Tuesday the necessity of expediting vital projects to serve the country's electrical power sector. In a statement, the Ministry of Electricity announced that Minister Wahib received Hindiyah Farrah, the German Chargé d'Affaires to Iraq, at the ministry's headquarters. The parties discussed prospects for joint cooperation in the field of electrical energy. The discussions encompassed an emphasis on enhancing bilateral cooperation and continuing the completion of Siemens projects within the electricity sector. These efforts aim to support and improve the efficiency of the national power grid, and address other files of mutual interest. The Minister also affirmed the ministry's keenness to develop partnerships with reputable international companies and accelerate project implementation to serve Iraq's electricity sector.
