Within the framework of its continuous efforts to develop the legal system and qualify cadres, the Iraqi Judicial Institute managed to achieve a prominent milestone by securing the first rank, outperforming its counterparts in Arab countries, after winning the majority of votes during the "Arab Excellence Shield" competitions for the third time in its history. It is worth noting that this superiority reflects the standing of the country's legal academic institutions and their capability for regional competition. This official result was announced on the seventh of October, during the expanded meeting held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, which witnessed broad participation represented by the presence of twenty-three Arab judicial institutes. This event featured high-level attendance, represented by the participation of the Director-General of the Judicial Institute, Judge Jalil Adnan Khalaf, in addition to the presence of an elite group of deans, directors of judicial institutes, and heads of judicial framework rehabilitation departments from various Arab countries to exchange expertise and enhance joint cooperation. In a related context, this new achievement carries profound implications of doubled importance, given that the Judicial Institute plays a pivotal role in formulating and accurately documenting excellence standards, which in turn enhances the sustainability of this noticeable superiority and supports its chances and strong opportunities to continue leading the competitions for the excellence shield during upcoming events and years. It is worth recalling that this new coronation is not the first of its kind, but rather represents the third achievement in the record of the Iraqi Judicial Institute, following its previous coronation with the "Arab Excellence Shield" on two prior occasions during 2021 and 2023, thereby confirming its consistent level and continuous leadership.
