The Iraqi Ministry of Health announced on Sunday the successful containment of a limited fire that erupted at the Ibn Al-Haytham Specialized Eye Hospital in the capital, Baghdad. The ministry confirmed no human casualties were recorded as a result of the incident. Saif Al-Badr, the official spokesperson, clarified that the blaze was minor, having originated in one of the hospital's dedicated electrical generators due to an electrical short circuit. Al-Badr emphasized that the hospital's civil defense unit swiftly managed to control and extinguish the flames, preventing any injuries or fatalities.
