On Sunday, the Minister of Justice, Khalid Shawani, met with the Minister of Defense, Nayef Al-Shammari, to discuss several joint issues including matters related to the Defense Ministry's lands and the legal and administrative measures required to protect state properties. During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination and cooperation between the two ministries and relevant authorities to implement appropriate measures that safeguard state assets and ensure their rights in the public interest. The discussion also addressed enhancing the security of correctional institutions, agreeing on coordination with the Air Defense Force to secure the airspace surrounding prisons, thereby supporting security procedures and reinforcing the protection of these facilities.
