Medical initiative to treat Palestinian patients for free in holy Karbala

Within the framework of ongoing humanitarian stances to support the brotherly Palestinian people, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, announced the readiness of the holy Husseini shrine to receive and provide completely free therapeutic services to patients coming from Palestinian territories, covering all treatment expenses and transportation costs. This announcement came during an official meeting with a Palestinian patient who is currently undergoing treatment within one of the medical and health institutions affiliated with the shrine. Al-Karbalai explained during the meeting that the holy shrine opens its doors to receive all medical cases from Palestine across various medical specialties to provide healthcare without any financial cost, stressing that this step falls within the efforts to support the Palestinian people and stand by them in facing the current harsh living and health conditions. The representative of the Supreme Authority continued by emphasizing that the health institutions affiliated with the shrine will closely follow up on all medical cases benefiting from the initiative, including those that require long treatment plans and multiple stages until full recovery is reached. He expressed his great pleasure and pride in providing hospitality and treatment services to Palestinian siblings during this difficult stage that families there are going through. It is worth noting that this humanitarian response represents a continuation of the service efforts made by the Husseini shrine in the free medical care sector for critical and humanitarian cases under direct guidance.
