Lionel Messi's attendance at the upcoming Ballon d'Or ceremony scheduled for next Monday in London remains uncertain due to his busy schedule and the logistical challenges of traveling between the United States and Europe within a short timeframe. The Argentine captain is expected to finalize his decision regarding participation after his team, Inter Miami, faces New York Red Bulls in a match set for Saturday in the United States. The Argentine star is preparing to receive the Princess of Asturias Award for Sports today during a ceremony at the Campoamor Theatre in Oviedo, Spain, before heading to the United States to join his team and prepare for the upcoming match. Following the game, Messi will decide whether to undertake another trip to Europe to attend the Ballon d'Or ceremony, which will be held at the London Palladium. It is noteworthy that Messi holds the record for the most Ballon d'Or wins, having been awarded eight times.
