The Ministry of Health on Monday announced the final toll from the ammonia gas leak incident at a Basra factory, reporting two deaths and 114 injuries. In its statement, the ministry confirmed that all individuals affected by the leak received medical aid and treatment. The ministry clarified that most of the 114 injuries were minor. Currently, 21 patients remain hospitalized: 12 at Zubair Hospital, 2 at Al-Sayab Hospital, and 7 at Kuwaiti Hospital. The ministry added that all these remaining cases are stable, except for one individual.
