The Ministry of Trade announced on Wednesday the commencement of adopting the Rabia border crossing in Nineveh Governorate as a new route for transporting food supplies. Jaafar Abbas Mohsen, the official in charge of the food supply fleet at the ministry, clarified that this measure aims to ensure the provision of ration card items and enhance their smooth delivery to various governorates. Mohsen added that the movement of trucks through the crossing is proceeding smoothly, attributing this to the procedures and facilities implemented, which have expedited transit operations and the transfer of shipments from the Syrian side to Iraqi territory.
