Iraqi Oil Minister Bassem Mohammed Khdeir Al-Abbadi announced on Tuesday the recovery of the country's oil export operations, confirming significant progress despite the surrounding region's crises. This declaration was made during Minister Al-Abbadi's chairmanship of an emergency crisis cell meeting. The session focused on discussing challenges and opportunities related to oil production and export operations, as well as the production and supply of vital oil derivatives. The meeting was attended by senior officials, including undersecretaries, advisors, and general directors of the ministry's companies and departments. During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the critical importance of ensuring the stability and smooth flow of gasoline supply to citizens, urging the concerned general directors to closely monitor this issue. He also stressed the necessity of preventing any future disruption or shortage in supply, highlighting the importance of monitoring actual consumption and demand to ensure continuous availability. In a related context, Al-Abbadi called for mobilizing all necessary efforts and capabilities to complete ongoing projects, aiming to sustain and increase production rates, thereby directly supporting the national economy.
