OPEC+ Maintains October Oil Production Quotas, Iraq Among Seven Key Nations

The seven member states of the OPEC+ alliance, including Iraq, announced their decision to maintain October's oil production levels unchanged from September. This move, detailed in an organization statement, confirms the group's ongoing production policy. Under the agreement, Iraq's October 2026 crude output quota stands at approximately 4.431 million barrels per day. Saudi Arabia was allocated 10.478 million barrels, and Russia 9.949 million barrels daily. The group includes Iraq, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Oman, and Algeria. These seven nations' total October quotas reached about 31.01 million barrels per day, excluding compensation for past production overages. The participating nations affirmed commitment to the cooperation agreement, with their next meeting set for October 4 to monitor oil market developments.
