Amid ongoing political efforts to organize the political landscape and finalize executive institutions, the Sadiqoon parliamentary bloc announced on Monday an agreement to create four positions for deputy prime ministers, confirming that the completion of the anticipated cabinet formation will take place within ten days before being sent to parliament for an official vote. Detailing these understandings, bloc MP Saad Al-Khazaali explained that the dialogues led to defining the shares and entitlements of the Sadiqoon bloc in the new government, which include the position of Deputy Speaker of Parliament—currently held by Adnan Fayhan—along with the expected Deputy Prime Minister post for Laith Al-Khazaali, in addition to assuming the portfolio of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Al-Khazaali added that the political discussions resulted in an agreement for the Prime Minister's executive team to include four deputies distributed across multiple vital sectors, encompassing security affairs, economic affairs, as well as the services and energy sectors, aiming to enhance government performance and strengthen coordination among various ministries and service and security bodies in the coming phase.
