Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi directed all government entities today, Thursday, to implement the Arabic Language Safety Law. This directive was issued during the first session of the Council of Heads of Independent Commissions and Non-Ministerial Bodies held on October 21, 2026, emphasizing adherence to Law No. 64 of 1977 concerning the safety of the Arabic language. The order also included utilizing the Iraqi Scientific Academy when necessary to ensure proper application of the law, along with coordinating with the Ministry of Finance to secure the required financial allocations to support the Academy's activities.
