Qatar Strongly Denies Allegations of Interference in Israeli Elections

On Thursday, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement strongly denying allegations of interference in the Israeli parliamentary elections, describing them as part of a new disinformation campaign. The statement, delivered by spokesperson Majid Al-Ansari, addressed claims made by the Israeli right-wing led by the Likud party under Benjamin Netanyahu, alleging that Qatar funded efforts to increase voter turnout among Arab voters, which were deemed baseless. Al-Ansari affirmed Qatar's firm rejection of these accusations promoted by certain Israeli politicians and affiliated media outlets, noting that the campaign aims to drag Qatar's name into Israel's internal political disputes. The statement emphasized that Qatar neither funded nor interfered in the Israeli elections or their outcomes, reiterating its consistent stance against meddling in the internal affairs of other countries.
