The IRGC reported that two Qatari LNG tankers turned back from Hormuz toward UAE waters.
This followed reports by Bloomberg that they were attempting to export gas.
The vessels “Al-Daayen” and “Rashida” were heading toward the strait near Oman after loading.
They had previously paused due to war and partial closure of the strait.
One vessel was reportedly heading to China.
No LNG tanker has crossed Hormuz since the conflict began.
