Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the targeting of its tanker "Sadr" while crossing the Strait of Hormuz, an incident resulting in the death of crew members. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned attacks on Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, affirming full solidarity with these sisterly nations in their efforts to protect their security and sovereignty from any threat. The Kingdom stressed the need to halt escalation and uphold the security and safety of international navigation and global energy supplies, good neighborliness, and state sovereignty, in line with the UN Charter and international law. Saudi Arabia urged all parties to de-escalate, respect international law, and seek peaceful solutions through negotiations.
