Saudi Interior warns against harboring visit visa holders

The Saudi Ministry of Interior stressed the application of a financial fine reaching 100,000 riyals against anyone who harbors holders of visit visas of all types in any location designated for housing, including hotels, apartments, private housing, shelters, and pilgrim housing sites, or covers up for them or provides them with any assistance that leads to them remaining in the city of Makkah and the Holy Sites, starting from the first of the month of Dhu al-Qi'dah until the end of the 14th day of Dhu al-Hijjah.

The Ministry emphasized that fines multiply according to the number of violating individuals who are harbored, covered up, or provided with assistance.

It called on everyone to adhere to the instructions regulating the Hajj season of 1447 AH and to cooperate with the competent authorities to ensure the security and safety of the guests of Rahman, warning that violating these instructions entails statutory penalties.
