Within the framework of following up security developments and efforts to enhance internal and external stability, the Head of the Security Media Authority, Lieutenant General Saad Maan, affirmed that intensive efforts will continue to prevent any hostile acts either inside the country or abroad, while doubling proactive operations to secure borders and cities. Maan explained that joint security and intelligence coordination with the United States of America will remain ongoing and effective to serve higher security interests. In a related context, he pointed out that the file of restricting arms to state control will witness remarkable progress according to the pre-determined timetable. He stressed that there are no real justifications for current security concerns, confirming that there is no incubator for terrorism on Iraqi soil.
