Spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah Al-Nu'man, confirmed on Monday that the country's security situation is stable, emphasizing the complete control of Iraqi security forces over all national territories. This assurance comes as he announced the completion of the withdrawal of US forces and the International Coalition from Iraq by September 30. Al-Nu'man clarified that the withdrawal process for both American and International Coalition forces will proceed according to previously agreed upon timelines. He denied in his statements the presence of any foreign military forces or bases on Iraqi soil after this date, affirming that the relationship with the International Coalition will transition into a bilateral partnership of a different nature. The spokesperson added that Iraqi forces are deployed across the entire country, and there is no significant concern for Iraq's security, stressing the readiness and capability of these forces to maintain stability.
