US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Wednesday that President Donald Trump prefers to negotiate with Iran.
Rubio added, in statements following the US government meeting at the White House: "I think progress has been made toward reaching an agreement".
He continued: "We will see in the coming hours and days".
