The General Directorate of Drug Control announced on Tuesday the successful infiltration of an international drug trafficking network and the seizure of 20 kilograms of hashish in a neighboring country. The directorate explained in a statement that the operation was carried out through advanced intelligence efforts and cross-border coordination, beginning with a precise plan to lure and arrest one of the network members caught in the act within the neighboring country's territory. The statement added that the first suspect's confessions and intelligence information led to uncovering the rest of the network members, resulting in the arrest of three additional individuals. In total, four network members were apprehended along with the seized 20 kilograms of hashish.
