The Chairman of the Iraqi Supreme Islamic Council, Hammam Hamoudi, emphasized that the Coordinating Framework is responsible for formulating the visions and policies for Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi's government, highlighting a strong harmony and understanding between the two parties, and affirming that Iraq is progressing towards a project of full and comprehensive sovereignty. Hamoudi stated during his participation in the Dialogue Forum that the homeland is not merely land and borders but an identity, culture, creed, and values, with religion as the foundation of the nation. He warned that a lack of pride in these fundamentals opens the door to attempts to fragment and usurp the country. He pointed out that Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi is the choice of the Coordinating Framework, which bears responsibility before God and the people for outlining visions and policies according to the law and constitution, while Al-Zaidi is tasked with implementing them through governmental mechanisms. He confirmed the existence of significant harmony and understanding between the two sides. He noted that Al-Zaidi's foreign visits reflect the level of acceptance and respect Iraq enjoys, conveying a message that Iraq is part of the Arab world, keen on its relations with neighboring countries, and possesses a vision that contributes to regional stability. Regarding regional affairs, Hamoudi mentioned that former U.S. President Donald Trump seeks an achievement, even if illusory, to save his future, while Iran refuses to accept outcomes below the level of its sacrifices. He highlighted that any upcoming existential battle will open new arenas involving all supporters of the axis of truth, with no borders or rules, but a struggle for life with dignity. He stressed that Iraq, with its identity, vision, and people, represents a source of stability and strength for the region and helps prevent terrorism and Zionist projects, emphasizing that the Iraqi people will not accept supporting any regimes backing the Zionist presence. Concerning sovereignty, Hamoudi clarified that September 30 was not merely a celebration of Sovereignty Day but the launch of a major national project aimed at achieving full and comprehensive sovereignty. He pointed to key outcomes of this path, including the withdrawal of all coalition and NATO forces, the agreement to withdraw Turkish forces by the end of the current year, the disarmament of Turkish and Iranian opposition groups and ending their presence in Iraq, as well as the building and development of Iraqi air defense capabilities. On the economic front, he described external borrowing as a sensitive issue that could restrict the country under World Bank policies, affirming the Coordinating Framework's rejection of this approach and stating that the parliament will not permit it either. Regarding the Framework's working mechanism, Hamoudi explained that the multiplicity of parties and the complexity of discussions and agreements led to the formation of specialized committees, each responsible for a specific file, tasked with providing visions, advice, and monitoring implementation. He called on Iraqi traders to emulate Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi's initiative in donating and contributing to building schools in remote and deprived areas, as well as establishing schools that nurture talented individuals in cooperation with local authorities or through joint initiatives. He concluded by stating that events shape conscious nations when led by a sacrificial leadership in the field and a people devoted to resilience, courage, and determination, citing the Iranian experience as a model admired worldwide.
