The Head of Iraq's Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Zaid Hoshi Al-Mousawi, and the Kurdistan Region's Minister of Interior, Reber Ahmed, affirmed today, Thursday, their commitment to continued security cooperation and unified efforts in response to ongoing challenges. During their meeting, Al-Mousawi and Ahmed deliberated on several priority security files relevant to both the central government and the Kurdistan Region. The discussions focused on developing effective coordination mechanisms, fostering information and experience exchange, and enhancing operational integration between their security institutions. These steps are crucial for confronting terrorist threats, pursuing residual extremist elements, and eradicating their support sources. Jointly, the two officials underscored the vital necessity of sustaining this collaboration and unifying capabilities.
