The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Lebanon, Mohammed Reda Al-Husseini, met on Wednesday with the Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at the government palace in Beirut. The Prime Minister welcomed Ambassador Al-Husseini, congratulating him on assuming his duties and wishing him success and prosperity in his diplomatic responsibilities. The meeting included a review of the fraternal and historical relations linking Iraq and Lebanon, discussing ways to strengthen and expand cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries. The discussion also covered several issues of mutual interest that contribute to serving the interests of both nations and their brotherly peoples.
