Kirkuk Council Enforces Ampere Pricing and Warns Violators of Legal Action

The Kirkuk Provincial Council announced on Tuesday the enforcement of a decision to set the ampere price at 13,000 dinars, emphasizing that this decision is binding for all relevant parties. The council stressed the importance of adhering to the set price and warned that any entity refusing to implement the decision or violating its provisions would face legal accountability. It confirmed that its decisions are effective and must be implemented by all without exception. This announcement follows protests in the city over the past two days opposing the ampere pricing in private generators, which the local government had set at 18,000 dinars.
