The ministry's spokesperson, Kareem Al-Sayed, clarified that the ministry has neither issued recommendations nor requested the government to cancel the Saturday holiday, noting that determining holidays is exclusively within the Cabinet's authority. He stressed that the ministry respects the Cabinet's decisions and that there are no demands from the ministry to cancel the Saturday holiday for schools.
