In a move aimed at addressing the academic situations of a number of students and enabling them to continue their educational journey, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced a significant decision to designate the 2025/2026 academic year as a "no-failure" year. This measure is intended to remedy the cases of students who were unable to successfully meet the requirements of their academic year. The Ministry stated in a press release that this decision applies exclusively to students whose enrollments will be cancelled, encompassing all admission channels for both morning and evening studies, as well as all academic stages. The decision explicitly exempts students whose enrollments were cancelled due to reasons related to cheating, forgery, or disciplinary penalties imposed upon them. Furthermore, the decision included additional conditions for eligibility. It stipulated that students must not have previously benefited from a "no-failure" year during any of their prior academic years. Moreover, eligible students must not have previously benefited from any past decisions issued for the reinstatement of students whose enrollments were cancelled. This decision underscores the Ministry's commitment to addressing affected academic cases and providing an opportunity for qualified individuals to complete their studies, all within the framework of prevailing regulations and instructions.
